Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.
They do it to get a crown that will not last;
but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

The Big Game
In football, you are guaranteed hard hits. Plays also fail, goals are lost, pain is incurred. A Christian’s life can be likened to football, including armchair quarterbacks. How about that pew sitter judging all the plays? You’re going to get hurt in church, you’re going to get hurt outside of church.
Guaranteed hard hits, but you can overcome it. Ask the Lord to help you forgive, give Him the hurt and step back into the game. Read God’s Word, search His perfect will, submit, get information and be ready to play to win. You’ll have a guaranteed loss if you don’t play. It’s not just a loss of your eternal rewards, but an eternal loss of others who were not saved. Your opposition is playing to win, too.
