We Were Made to Pray

Hands that PrayThe Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.  He cares for those who trust in Him.  – Nahum 1:7

C.S. Lewis, wrote “If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.” (Mere Christianity)

He was right; we were made by God, for God and in the likeness of God Himself.  Having made such an investment in us, it is so unlikely that He would leave us alone and defenseless; no, He would protect His assets.   The world in which we were deposited is not our final expenditure. Through prayer and multiplying faith, we’ll be withdrawn with interest.

Father, I am Yours.  Let me be Your asset, and use me to Your benefit.
