Plug Into the Power

Plug inThat is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.   – 2 Corinthians 12:10

It has been said that Christians are weak and just need something to believe in.   Many times before Christ enters our lives, we are quite weak and without direction. We seek to fill the unbounded void with other things, but fail to fill this overwhelming hunger.  Eventually our lives feel like power cords without an electrical supply.

It is at this time many have discovered strength beyond explanation after an encounter with Christ. Being a weak Christian is actually a grand place to be.  Our living God strengthens us and we discover that He is more than faithful to fill our emptiness.  It is up to us to stay “plugged in” to Him.  One has to have His strength in order to stand against sin. Many times Christians fight rebellious attitudes and are vulnerable to sinful temptations. Staying focused and away from temptation sometimes causes loss of friends and family; however, the rich rewards of walking with Christ make our lives both meaningful and fruitful.

Be brave.  Follow Christ.
