The Great Thanksgiving

Young people praise just like the Christian youth in the USAWe know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus.  All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.  – 2 Corinthians 4:14-15

We live and give, sacrifice and persevere – all to bring glory to our God.  The more we share with others, the more grace we extend in His name, the greater the celebration will be – here now and in the halls of heaven.

November is the time of year in which we pause and consider how much we have received over many seasons and how much we have shared.  Have we shown grace to others as God has daily showered upon us? As the year nears its end, we look back at the trials and hardships we may have endured – were you ever alone?  We remember assistance and the kindnesses of others that eased our burdens such that we can say, “I’m still standing” today.  God does send angels among us unaware – did one fly through your circumstances this year and lift you to safety?

Live a life of gratitude.  Be thankful.  Be gracious to those around you.  Not only does God appreciate and approve our efforts, but blesses us in even greater measure.
