A Sunday School teachers dedication reaps many rewards. An observation of Gods love and work through the tiniest of tots is simply amazing. Laughter, fun and memorable experiences can be set in ones heart for life. A memorable mistake from students happened while they were singing two songs: Gladly the Cross-Eyed Bear (Gladly the Cross Id Bear) and Goat Tail It On The Mountain, (Go Tell It on The Mountain). All was well because the childrens motives were sincere and the joy of the Lord was evident on their faces.
Likewise, adults make mistakes (especially noticed) even if they are dedicated Christians. After all, the devil uses every means to discourage unbelievers from seeking to follow Christ. The good news is that if our hearts are in the right place, we are forgiven and He will lead us to the path He has chosen. Sometimes this happens with loves whisper, sometimes a shout and sometimes we must be shaken up to respond. Prepare your heart for the whisper.
