But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirits leading in every part of our lives. – Galatians 5:22-25
The Holy Spirit is planted within us to produce fruit in our lives, not to lay dormant nor simply hover beneath the surface. It is living and actively seeking to break through our physical clay into the light with an abundant harvest. This fruit starts as a seed and must grow to maturity with time and toil, soft rain and harsh winters, but when fully ripe, it is sweet and nourishing to every part of the body. It transforms everything we touch into a community garden of success.
