Give Thanks!

On this Thanksgiving Day, we acknowledge our God as the Giver of All Good Gifts.  A life of gratitude is a life that brings joy and contentment, that can summon the strength to overcome sorrows and pain, that finds the means to reach out to someone in need.  Give thanks today and learn what it means to really live.

1 Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.Let the whole world know what he has done.

1 Chronicles 16:34
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!His faithful love endures forever.

Amos 4:5
Present your bread made with yeast as an offering of thanksgiving.Then give your extra voluntary offerings so you can brag about it everywhere!This is the kind of thing you Israelites love to do,”says the Sovereign Lord.

Romans 14:6
Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God.
