Everyday Should Be “Earth Day”

The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. – Genesis 2:8-15

God created the Earth and pronounced it “very good” (Gen. 1:31), then He made us to be stewards of His masterpiece. He made it not only to sustain us, but to delight us, inspire us, and give us insight to His immense power, His attention to detail and His unending love for us.  Not only on “Earth Day”, but everyday, we are reminded of God’s great gift to us and our responsibility to thank Him through caring for His world in big and small ways, leaving it better than we found it, and honoring Him for generations to come.

God penned the laws of nature and Jesus used its lessons to illustrate His Truths. Just like the environment around us, we are ever changing, infinitely renewable, designed for growth, and made to praise Him with all that we are.
