Treasures Old and Best

He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”  – Matthew 13:52

It’s never too late to be used of God. No matter how learned, how wise, there is always more we can grow. No matter how tarnished, precious metal doesn’t lose its value and can be polished to a shining glow again – as can we. There are no “throw-away-people,” no useless gifts.  The old treasures are sometimes the very best we have to give.
