God Cares for Us

Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” So when the Samaritans came to Him, they urged Him to stay with them…  – John 4:39-40

Jesus cared about people: a troubled woman sitting alone at a well, a high official consumed with concern for his sick child, a cluster of children who just wanted to hold the kind man’s hand and play at His feet. He not only addressed the multitudes, He also made time for His disciples, His friends and so many strangers who caught His gaze or tugged at His heart. He stopped and talked. He listened and met their needs. When they could not accept His message, He wept for them as they turned away, and He loved them. It didn’t matter who they were, were they were from, or where they were going.  He cared deeply then, He cares the same today. No matter who we are or where we have been, He still cares for us.
