A House Becomes a Home

…How awesome is this place! This is none other than the House of God, and this is the gate of heaven. (NASB) – Genesis 28:17

Yankee Stadium was known as “the House that Ruth Built,” a place where New Yorkers would flock from all walks of life, to cheer their baseball hero Babe Ruth as he excited and amazed them with his powerful bat. How much more the House of God stands as a place of power, excitement and praise, worthy of worship, and welcoming all people to share a common bond.

Here it is not only a camaraderie, but a family – and where there is family in the house, it becomes a home. God built a home for His people, carved out of His own heart, where love rules and every child is safe. Find your home in the House of God.
