Bread for Life

Taste and see that the Lord is good…  – Psalm 34:8

People in every part of the world through millennia have made some kind of bread. This staple food may be created from different kinds of grain or other plants, with yeast or un-leaven, but in any form it is basic to sustaining life.  Bread is portable, long lasting, and is filling enough to stave off hunger and provide energy. The smell of baking bread fills the house and warms the heart with memories of happy times or familiar family meals. Breaking bread together is a sign of friendship, unity and peace.

Jesus said that He was the Bread of Life.  For all time, in every nation, to all people, He would be nourishment for the soul.  His love would be long-lasting and stay with us wherever we go.  His body was broken for all our sins so that He could become our peace, bringing us together in fellowship and unity. Those that love Him are filled with the fragrance of hope and savoir the sweet and satisfying taste of contentment.  Taste and see that the Lord is good…He invites you to feast!
