God gifts His people for service. We meet together inside CBF to learn more of Him and to recharge our spirits so that we are equipped to go beyond our walls and reach others for His glory. Community Bible Fellowship is especially blessed with many servants who use their gifts to reach out and share God’s love and grace. We hope that providing information on these ministries will extend their reach so that you or someone you know may be blessed!
Worship is important at CBF. We were created to glorify God Almighty as well as to have an intimate relationship with Him, our Father and friend. Sue Breland, CBF Worship Director, has worked closely with the Pastor for over 10 years, designing worship that endeavors to prepare hearts and minds to receive God’s message including written meditations, stewardship thoughts, music, drama, and leading the congregation to worship.
Now, Sue has published several books of inspirational devotions and that may be used by individuals or worship leaders in corporate settings under the ministry “Worship for One”. Whether you need a scripture verse to start your daily devotional time, a meditation for a small group discussion or a focus for your church service or offertory, Worship for One materials can help. Each thought is Bible-based, non-denominational, and simply written for anyone to understand and use.
The newest book Worship for One: Journey through the Cross Meditations for Lent is just in time for the 2014 Lenten season which begins on Wednesday, March 5. Download your digital copy today from Amazon.com and make your own personal journey through the cross with daily devotions and weekend opportunities to “delve deeper” into the Word and into your Christian walk.
