Then Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the Ark of the Covenant stood; and they are there to this day. -Joshua 4:9
We leave our footprints everywhere; from our feet as we walk, with all the resources we use, even in traces of ourselves in cyberspace. We used to say that what gets on the internet stays forever, but recently we’ve heard that search engines are considering “forgetting” some things previously posted at a person’s request. Technically, it will still be there, but will just not be “findable”. More things have probably been forgotten in this world than we will ever know, but not what we do for God’s Kingdom. The good we do, the difference we make, the love we share stands forever in God’s memory. You are important and He will never forget that you were here.
