Ask and Expect

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. -Matthew 7:7-8

From his youth, King David spoke to God throughout his days and nights. Consistency was key to his prayer – ask and expect, ask and expect. In peace time or war, during personal victories or despair, David made time to pray. He didn’t wait for God to read his mind and hope for answers. Day by day, he met with the Source of Power, made his requests, and anticipated an answer.  Dedicate time to speak with God and you can expect a blessing.
