Then they put their hands over their ears and began shouting. They rushed at him [Stephen] and dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. His accusers took off their coats and laid them at the feet of a young man named Saul. -Acts 7:57-58 (NLT)
When you share your faith, some people will not hear you; some will actively reject, berate or harass you. In America, most of us will not face physical attack, but there are those around the world with this very real possibility as a part of their everyday lives.
Sometimes, you may feel like you are standing alone as unbelievers gather around you, like a circling mob, while they bruise your heart and bloody your pride. But outside that crowd beyond your sight, there may be an observer, a Saul, who may one day become a Paul (the apostle) because you chose to stand. The cost to you may be great, yet remember that the reward could be eternal.
