With Abundance

“What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied. -2 Kings 4:2

God never leaves us empty handed. Oh, we may not think we have much, but little IS much when God is in it. We know what He can do with a bit of oil, a few fish, or a loaf of bread. When God asked Moses, “What is in your hand?” Moses gave Him his plain wooden staff and God turned it into the instrument of Israel’s freedom. God doesn’t respond to need in a small way, He provides all we need and more. When we take what we have, fold in our faith, and put it in God’s hands, the return will be abundant.
