Cracked Armor

And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him [Judas]. -John 13:26b-27

Satan can only enter, if we leave the door open. Even while Judas sat at the table with Jesus, there was a crack in his armor just large enough for Satan to slither in and wrap his tendrils of doubt and greed inextricably around his heart. If we are honest, it could happen to any of us. We must be constantly vigil, guarding ourselves with the full Armor of God, strengthening our resolve with daily connection to God, and refocus our desires with gifts of love and service to others.
