Advent Day 23: Make a Difference

For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. – Romans 5:17

Everyone makes a difference. Our lives are intertwined and interdependent upon each other. For those who have learned how the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ still touches people today and can change the trajectory of a life rocketing toward destruction, it is our responsibility to be the person that God will use to continue to change our world.

We have all the tools we need to succeed – the love to share, the heart to care, and the greatest story ever told. Make a difference in someone’s life this Christmas and it will have an even greater effect on you.

Today’s Gift

Read Luke chapter 1 in any version of the Bible you prefer. Notice all the people that made a difference in the coming of the Christ Child. Think about how you make a difference in the lives of all the people in your world today and how you can change your world tomorrow.
