But Peter and John replied, “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.” – Acts 4:19-20 (NLT)
When Jesus entered Jerusalem that final time, the crowds exploded with praise. The Pharisees told Jesus to rebuke the crowd and make them stop, but He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!” (Luke 19:40 NLT).
In the presence of the Christ there is no silence. He creates electricity in the air that reverberates sound waves across all nature to deep within our souls. Even if there are no words, His Holy Spirit radiates outward through our eyes and by our touch.
A vessel that is full will overflow as it continues to be filled. As long as we continue to allow God to fill us with His Spirit, we cannot help but spill out on others; His blessings too much to contain, His story too exciting to go unshared, His love too contagious to avoid its spread.
Speak up! Shout out! He is heard through us! Today as in Isaiah’s time, we celebrate the Symphony of Salvation that our God wrote for us – then, now and forever!
Prayer Starter – Hallelujah! I praise You with all the music in my soul! I sing today of your wondrous love for me and all creation!
