Beyond Separation

I long to see you again, for I remember your tears as we parted. And I will be filled with joy when we are together again. -2 Timothy 1:4

“Parting is such sweet sorrow,” a well known quote from William Shakespeare’s play Romeo & Juliet reminds us that separation is often both sad and exciting. Children grow up and leave their parents home, people relocate to take a new job – to everything there is a season and change is a part of life. Even in separation, we can celebrate new paths, for we know in Christ there is no distance which can break our bonds of love for one another.
