It’s Not Finished

I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:13-14

Paul, the writer of this passage, had worked great miracles and had had even explained God’s revelation of the Messiah to scholars of his day, but even he said, “I don’t have it all down yet.” The key is – he kept trying to understand more. In the process to know more, he found that he had to let go of some old ways of thinking and take hold of the new. We never finish growing until our life on earth is through. Be willing to learn, change, and enjoy the journey!
