Walking The Way

Then Felix, who was well acquainted with the Way, adjourned the proceedings. –Acts 24:2

Before the term “Christianity” was used, following Jesus was just known as “the Way.” It is interesting that many other Gods and religions offered paths to salvation, good fortune or happiness, but only following Jesus became widely known as “the Way.” It was an observable, consistent way of living that was unmistakably Christ-like in love, inclusion, forgiveness and giving. Today, would others recognize the way you and I live as THE Way of Jesus? The word “Christian” has many various connotations today. Let’s remember that He is not found in a label, but in a Way.
