Go in peace,  Eli said, and may the God of Israel give you what you have asked Him for. – 1 Samuel 1:17

“Go in peace.” You may have come in turmoil, fear or anger, but God bids us to “go in peace.”  That’s because we can leave all that behind in His hands, on His shoulders, under His control. We were not created to carry the heavy burdens of this life, the stresses of the world, or the obstacles in our way.  That is why our bodies break down, blood pressure soars, hearts give out.  We were made as God’s masterpiece, a sculpture of perfect balance, where the poundage of pressure is offset by the power of release.

Go in peace, not pieces – you are God’s greatest work of art – valued, protected and loved.
