Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done…

Then Jesus said, Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

“Thy will be done.”  Perhaps He meant that we should stop trying to reign over our own will, and submit to the better plan of the King of kings.  We like to wear the crown, but we weren’t made to bear the weight.

So give it up. Give it back to God.  He’ll take it – He’s already taken it, so that we can relax. Praying for God’s will to be done in you can be freeing!
