The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. – Micah 6:8
God has given us the prescription, the recipe, the path to Christian life in a few simple steps. We make it complicated. Here it is from the prophet Micah: 1) do what you know is right, 2) be merciful – compassionate and generous – and, 3) be humble, remembering that bad things can happen to good people and don’t think yourself better than someone else.
It doesn’t take extraordinary courage, wealth or strength to live like Christ – just humility enough to let Him live through you.
May I act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with You every day.
